Smoke Wizard with Universal Fuel Tank Filler Neck Adapter Cap by Global Leak Detection
The Generation 3 Smoke Wizard smoke machine adds vacuum monitoring and testing, and an enhanced flow meter indicator to provide a full range of EVAP System leak detection diagnostics.  The new microprocessor- controlled machine builds on the Generation 2, which added pressure testing and inert gas (nitrogen) capability specified by OEM for EVAP testing, to what had been a basic smoke machine.

The Smoke Wizard’s flow meter indicates three leak thresholds: .040 in., .020 in. and the newest, .010 in.  The company’s mineral oil-based smoke fluid contains trace dye to help locate hard-to-find leaks.  The machine has an internal filter/water separator to protect it (and the EVAP System) from moisture in shop air.

The Smoke Wizard also can be used for finding body air leaks, using a smoke diffuser to spread the flow along body seams; vacuum leaks in HVAC systems; and even exhaust system leaks, using an exhaust pipe conical adapter.  Available with the machine is a new universal gas tank filler neck adapter cap that forms an airtight seal when installed, and can be reused over and over indefinitely without your having to replace a seal.
